My Experience at Dock19 by Mateusz Gessler

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Dock19 by Mateusz Gessler, one of Warsaw’s culinary gems. The evening was a remarkable experience that delighted both my palate and my senses.

Dock19 is a place where modern architecture meets thoughtful interior design and an exceptional menu, making it a standout in Warsaw’s dining scene.

Designed by renowned architect Boris Kudlicki, the space exudes a perfect blend of contemporary aesthetics and classic elegance, with premium materials, tasteful lighting, and a welcoming ambiance suitable for business meetings, family dinners, or romantic evenings. The bar area, with its chic design and relaxing vibe, particularly impressed me.

The menu masterfully combines European and Asian influences, offering an array of both classic and innovative dishes. I followed the chef’s recommendations and started with a tuna tartare infused with Asian flavors—fresh, balanced, and exquisite.

My main course was sea bream served over Mediterranean vegetables, perfectly cooked to deliver a juicy and aromatic experience. To top it off, I savored a dessert of matcha and white chocolate, a delicate yet satisfying finish.

Every dish was a true work of art, both visually and in taste. The attention to detail in each creation was inspiring. For me, Dock19 is more than just a restaurant; it’s an experience.

With its unique combination of fine cuisine, outstanding design, and warm atmosphere, it has become one of the best dining destinations in Warsaw. I am certain that anyone who visits will want to return.
